NLRS Limited Rover Award

Following each years ARRL UHF contest, the NLRS sponsors a 1st and 2nd place "NLRS Limited Rover Award". The purpose of this award is to promote UHF activity, the ARRL UHF contest, Rovermania!, and roving. Winners may be located anywhere in the USA or Canada and shall be determined by the three club officers based on the following rules.

NLRS Limited Rover Award Rules

  1. Winners must have adhered to the full rules and regulations of the ARRL's UHF contest.
  2. They must have submitted a log. Winners shall be determined by review of the top two contest scores based on the data that appears on the ARRL's contest website.

  3. A NLRS Limited Rover is defined as a rover who competes with no more than three bands. The three bands may be any three bands of their choice and that are available for use during the ARRL UHF contest.

  4. Winners must have complied with the rules and the spirit of the ARRL UHF contest and may not have demonstrated unfair rover practices. Unfair rover practices may include grid circling, pack roving, or captive roving. Determination of this rule is at the discretion of the Club's officers
